iCamp
iCamp offers children the unique opportunity to EXPLORE, INVENT & CREATE with a variety of technologies--all in one camp! Each child is equipped with their own laptop computer. Projects are designed and geared for their specific age level and ability.
In this camp, kids can choose projects that incorporate any or all of the following four technologies: Animation, Robotics and Engineering, Gamemaking and Digitial Art. Animation introduces campers to stop motion and live action production. Animations are created using digital cameras and capture software…including Green Screen capability. Engineering activities introduce kids to mechanical and programming concepts. They can construct mechanisms using NXT Legos and write kid friendly code to bring them to life! As well as, they can design their own dream home using architectural software. Video game design activities teach campers the fundamentals of programming and video game design. Digital art activities give campers an opportunity to express themselves creatively using such software as Kid Pix, Collage Creator, Photo Studio, Fun House and Panorama Maker.
