Game Modding: Half-Life 2
- Break the mold! A new form of game design is taking the gaming world by storm. It’s called game modding, and it gives you the ability to tweak or completely redraw popular games. Modding is so much fun, that game manufacturers are now designing their games with modders in mind. And modding is a great skill to have if you want to become a professional game designer.
Learn how it's done and experience first-hand the thrill of redesigning a computer game to make it play the way you want. The skills learned in this course will give kids a head -start in the hottest gaming technique out there. Using Half-Life 2®, campers learn how to mod and then use these skills to mod other games. This course is perfect for those who want to turn commercially produced games inside out.

- Who will like this course?
This modding course is a starting place for anyone interested in game modding. It is ideally suited for youth who have already taken our game design course.
- Recommended Prerequisites:
Have prior knowledge in programming or successfully completed course on Game Design, Visual Basic.net or C++ programming language.

Morning session: Monday to Thursday (9 am - 12 noon) for two weeks Afternoon session: Monday to Thursday (1 pm - 4 pm) for two weeks
