Digital Photography and Graphics
- A picture says it all! What better way to learn to express yourself visually than through the art of photography? Our digital photography course sparks creativity while taking the students on an interactive tour through photography skills and concepts. Not only do students apply newly learned skills of composition to their own photographs, but they also practice image-editing techniques. They experience firsthand how image editing makes their photos even better and aids them in communicating their personal messages. Students build a portfolio of work and get career tips that explore the versatile and powerful field of photography.

- Recommended Prerequisites:
Basic understanding of PC or Mac and familiarity with the Internet.

Replace Your Face – Use layers and masks to attach a photo of your face to someone else's body! CD Cover – Use Photoshop's special effects tools and your favorite images to create an original CD cover. Web Banners – Design a banner that uses images and text to communicate a mood and message, then optimize it for delivery on the Web.
